Liposuction
Duration

The Liposuction procedure usually takes an average of 1.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the volume. After the procedure, the patient is monitored as an inpatient for 24 hours.

Hospitalization

After surgery, the patient will be hospitalized for 24 hours before being discharged. The patient will be accommodated in the Quirónsalud Málaga Hospital and will be provided with the best possible care.

Anesthesia

A Liposuction usually takes place under general anesthesia. The anesthesia is induced by an anesthesiologist from our experienced anesthesia staff.

Dr. Felipe Schmitt Sánchez will be performing the surgery in the certified operating rooms of the Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga.

Results

The results can be seen immediately, although it will take approximately up to one month before the patient can return to their normal routine.

Liposuction

Liposuction uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck.

Toned contours and a well-shaped silhouette are amongst the most important wishes of many patients. However, it often happens that persistent fat deposits do not seem to disappear despite exercise and a balanced diet. In such cases, Liposuction can support the patient on the path to the ideal body shape.

If you are thinking about a Liposuction, feel free to schedule an appointment with Dr. Felipe Schmitt Sánchez for a more individualized consultation and a detailed explanation of the surgery, possible risks, post-surgery complications, and follow-up care.
