Tuberous Breast Surgery

Tuberous breast surgery corrects tuberous breasts, whereby the applied surgery technique depends on severity of the case and the desired result.

Tuberous breasts is a congenital condition that can severely affect the life quality of those affected. This genetic condition, sometimes also referred to as constricted breasts, varies widely in severity, but in most cases causes problems with overall breast symmetry or breast aesthetics.

Usually, a breast augmentation technique is used to release the contracted tissue, increase the volume of the breast and stretch the tissue. If patients do not wish to have a breast implant, often a breast lift (mastopexy) technique is performed.
