The Rhinoplasty procedure usually takes an average of 2 hours, depending on the case. The patient will then be able to return home after being monitored for 24 hours.

After surgery, the patient will be accommodated for 24 hours in the Quirónsalud Málaga Hospital and will be provided with the best possible care.

A Rhinoplasty usually takes place under general anesthesia. The anesthesia is induced by an anesthesiologist from our experienced anesthesia staff.

Dr. Felipe Schmitt Sánchez will be performing the surgery in the certified operating rooms of the Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga.

The results can be monitored right after the surgery, although it takes about six weeks for the patient to return to their normal routine.

Rhinoplasty, sometimes referred to as a “nose job” or “nose reshaping” by patients, enhances facial harmony and the proportions of your nose. Rhinoplasty can also correct breathing problems caused by structural defects and is one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures in plastic surgery.

Rhinoplasty can reduce the size of the nose, change the shape of its tip or bridge, narrow the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and upper lip.

Correcting even minor imperfections can have a very positive effect on appearance and self-esteem. If a misshaped nose is experienced as a source of discomfort, or if you are suffering from breathing issues, undergoing a Rhinoplasty may be a good option for you.

If you are thinking about a Rhinoplasty, feel free to schedule an appointment with Dr. Felipe Schmitt Sánchez for a more individualized consultation and a detailed explanation of the surgery, possible risks, post-surgery complications, and follow-up care.
