thigh lift
Duration

The Thigh Lift procedure usually takes an average of 1.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the volume. After the procedure, the patient is monitored as an inpatient for 24 hours.

Hospitalization

After surgery, the patient will be hospitalized for 24 hours before being discharged. The patient will be accommodated in the Quirónsalud Málaga Hospital and will be provided with the best possible care.

Anesthesia

A Tigh Lift usually takes place under general anesthesia. The anesthesia is induced by an anesthesiologist from our experienced anesthesia staff.

Dr. Felipe Schmitt Sánchez will be performing the surgery in the certified operating rooms of the Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga.

Results

The results can be seen immediately, however, it may take several months for the final results to fully develop. It will take approximately up to one month before the patient can return to their normal routine.

Thigh Lift

Thigh lift surgery reduces excess skin and fat, which creates smoother looking skin and better proportioned thigh contours.

When fitness and weight control efforts are not successful enough to give the body a firmer, more youthful and proportional appearance, a thigh lift can help achieve the desired results.

However, thigh lift is not exclusively for the removal of excess fat. Liposuction alone can remove excess fat deposits if the skin has good elasticity and can naturally shape itself to the new body contours.

In cases where the elasticity of the skin is poor, a thigh lift may be recommended along with liposuction.

If you are thinking about a Thigh Lift, feel free to schedule an appointment with Dr. Felipe Schmitt Sánchez for a more individualized consultation and a detailed explanation of the surgery, possible risks, post-surgery complications, and follow-up care.
